The Wisconsin recall elections are coming down to the wire, and previously unheard-of amounts of money are being spent. So far, the Republican incumbents are out-raising their challengers, with who-knows-how-much last-minute corporate money waiting in the wings.
You can contribute to the challengers through Act Blue.

Don’t worry too much, Doug. I am reasonably confident that the good guys will win in the Wisconsin Senate. Phone banks are going constantly, and many people are knocking on doors in the election districts. More than enough signatures (25% of the last election’s voters) were collected in short order for the Dems, while the Goppers trying to recall Dems could hardly get it done, even with cheating. Dan Hansen, a defending Democrat, kicked his flawed opponent 2-1 on July 12th. So the effort is being made, and we know that we are the epicenter. If we win, other states will take heart, and we will go on to recall Scott Walker on Jan. 1. A pre-signature sign-up is going well for that. The corporations can’t stop this sort of activity. It’s what they fear most. Watch us on D-Day, Aug. 9. Best wishes, Alan B. Cormack, Oregon, Wisconsin
Good luck to all the Wisconsinites who are making this happen. The rest of the country is depending on you to start the pendulum moving the other way.
